ROW Acquisition and Relocation Assistance
  • A DOTD Real Estate Agent is available at tonight’s Hearing to answer questions
  • Detailed information can be found in this brochure, which is at the Property Acquisition Station, or
  • Can be obtained from the DOTD District 04 Real Estate Office

Right-of-Way Acquisition
  • Pay just compensation for all properties required for this project
  • Owners may be contacted and given the opportunity to participate in the inspection

  • Letter stating DOTD’s cash offer for the property
  • DOTD will explain property value and options

Relocation Assistance
  • DOTD Agents will contact all families and businesses being displaced
  • Relocation assistance includes both advisory services and payments

  • Replacement housing payments are available to qualifying owners and tenants
  • 3 requirements
    • Occupy property at start of negotiations
    • Occupied property for at least 90 days
    • Move into decent, safe and sanitary replacement housing
